How to Build Reports & Dashboards

Create custom dashboards with pipeline funnels, revenue charts, and activity tracking.

Reports and dashboards give you a clear picture of how your business is performing. Track pipeline health, revenue trends, team activity, and conversion rates — all updated in real time, without spreadsheets.

Creating a Dashboard

Go to Reporting and create a new dashboard. Give it a name and start adding report cards. Each dashboard can hold multiple cards, so you can build a single view that covers everything you need for a weekly review or a team meeting.

Report Cards

Each card shows a specific metric or visualisation. Choose from:

  • Bar charts — compare values across categories (e.g. revenue by month)
  • Line charts — track trends over time (e.g. deals created per week)
  • Pie charts — show proportions (e.g. deal sources breakdown)
  • Funnel charts — visualise conversion between pipeline stages
  • Stat cards — single big numbers (e.g. total pipeline value, close rate)
  • Tables — detailed data with sorting and filtering

Pipeline Funnels

Funnel reports are one of the most useful chart types. They show how many opportunities move from each pipeline stage to the next, with conversion percentages at each step. This makes it obvious where deals are stalling and where your process needs attention.

Filters and Date Ranges

Every dashboard supports date range filtering. Compare this month to last month, this quarter to last quarter, or set a custom range. Filters apply across all cards on the dashboard, so one change updates everything.

Tip: Build separate dashboards for different audiences — a high-level overview for management, a pipeline-focused view for sales, and an activity dashboard for operations. Each person sees what matters to them.

Dashboard Visibility

Each dashboard has its own visibility setting, controlled from the dropdown in the filter toolbar at https://app.trustpager.com/crm/reporting. Four options:

  • Everyone — all workspace members can see this dashboard
  • Admins only — only users with an admin role can see it
  • Only me — private to you
  • Specific people — grant access to individual team members

New dashboards default to Everyone.

Note for existing workspaces: All dashboards created before April 2026 were migrated to Admins only to preserve the previous admin-only default. If your editors or team members can't see a dashboard they previously had access to, open it and change visibility to Everyone or Specific people. This is a one-time step per dashboard.

Filter Toolbar Changes

The Open / Won / Lost quick-filter pills have been removed from the toolbar. Status filtering still works — set it at the card level in each report card's query configuration.
