Use the Tag From Call Transcript automation action to tag an opportunity based on what was said on a recorded call, with a safe Suggest only mode.
The Tag From Call Transcript automation action listens to what was said on a recorded call and tags the opportunity for you. If the calls clearly show a particular outcome, the right tag is applied. If they do not, nothing happens and the rest of your automation carries on.
Open your automations at https://app.trustpager.com/auto/automations, add an action and choose Tag From Call Transcript (in the CRM group). It works on any automation that has an opportunity, such as a stage change automation.
We recommend turning on Suggest only first. In this mode nothing is tagged. The automation run records the tag it would have chosen and how confident it was, so you can check it against real calls before letting it tag for real.
If the calls do not say, the AI is not sure enough, or there is no recorded call, nothing is tagged and the rest of the automation carries on. That means a fallback step, such as creating a task for a person to review, still fires.
Every run records the chosen tag, the confidence and the probability of every option. See the automation's run history at https://app.trustpager.com/auto/automations. When a tag does land, a timeline note is added to the opportunity: "Tagged from call: X". Nothing is written to the timeline when no tag is applied.
Each AI read costs one credit. Opportunities with no usable recorded call cost nothing.
The Trigger Automation action now fills in {{placeholders}} inside its additional data before passing it on. For example, {"deal_id": "{{deal_id}}"} now reaches the chained automation as the real opportunity id. Previously the literal text was passed, which made the chained steps fail. Existing chains that worked around this keep working.
